You have never seen a 5.3L Fox Body go this fast in the quarter

Street cars with a 5.3L Fox Body and a stock bottom-end aren’t uncommon in street racing, but this car had an extremely impressive time and speed at the Street Car Takeover Indianapolis.

The car has a Chevy pickup motor, and the driver said it had a little bit of headwork done.

The turbo was done by Forest Inductions, and the driver tuned the car himself. He said it was his “fun street car.”

The car ran a 7.91 at 173.61 miles per hour and won the final race, which is a stock bottom end 5.3L record.
