A little girl hung on for her life on the back of a speeding bus

A 4-year-old girl hung on for her life on a busy roadway in Arkansas before she fell from the door and landed on the pavement.

Luckily, an EMT was riding behind the bus. Not only did he catch it all on his dashcam video, but he was able to offer aid to the badly injured youngster.

Ryan Ciampoli, a licensed EMT and volunteer firefighter, said, “We’re in the middle of a State Highway, so I couldn’t just leave her just laying there.”

He picked the girl up, carried her off the road and laid her in a truck bed in a nearby parking lot.

“Once the adrenaline and shock kicked in in her little body, she started kicking and screaming, and you know, ‘Where’ my mommy,’ and things like that,” Ciampoli told Good Morning America.  “Stuff like that is really heartbreaking, it’s tough to see.”

The little girl suffered a broken jaw, but thanks to Ciampoli, will be just fine.
