A late-race crash sent one driver to last at Michigan International Speedway

With only a few laps remaining in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at International Speedway, Danica Patrick made contact with Daniel Suarez.

The contact caused Patrick to lose control, and she crashed into the wall.

Patrick wasn’t injured, but she did finish last in the race.

Suarez didn’t suffer as much as Patrick, but he only finished 24th.

Patrick has had a rough season, and she is even considering retiring after the year. She is now ranked No. 30 in the standings.

The only way Patrick will make the postseason is if she wins a race, but it doesn’t look likely at this point.
