Here’s more proof than Florida periodically experiences what those on the more substance-oriented branch of life call a “trip.”
A dash cam on a car in Fort Myers, Florida, caught what, at first, appears to be a pretty mundane scene: a railroad crossing. The car approaches the crossing and the arms go down. All is normal so far. After a while the arms begin to lift up, so the cars pull forward a bit, then arms go back down. Weird.
At this point we can assume the driver has noticed the work train slowly making its way down the tracks, because when the arms finally do go up, he/she doesn’t immediately bolt across the tracks. Which is good, because it turns out that the train hasn’t even passed yet.
Good job, Florida. No way that could ever go poorly.
