Former AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson has picked up another hobby since leaving the band last year, but this hobby doesn’t seem to be going well for him either.
Johnson wasn’t driving on the Highway to Hell — the band’s classic rick tune — but he was competing at the Silverstone Classic in the U.K. over the weekend, and he crashed his Austin A35 in the qualifying heat of the race in a nasty wreck.
Johnson — whose former band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 — luckily didn’t suffer any injuries. He left the band due to hearing loss, which he said actually came from his love of fast cars instead of playing music.
Hopefully Johnson can avoid another wreck like that if he decides to give racing another try.
